Siafast Strips and Discs

SIASOFT AND SIAFAST ABRASIVE STRIPS AND DISCS FOR SMALL AIR AND ELECTRIC
TOOLS
Siasoft flexible abrasive with foam backing is a recent introduction. It allows edges and difficult
shapes to be finished easily and consistently. The Siafast method of fixing abrasive strips and
discs with the use of very soft, medium and hard back-up pads makes the choice of grit to
achieve the desired finish a more precise choice especially when applied to contour and veneer
sanding.
The opportunity to use coarser grades to achieve smoother finishes is possible gaining a much
longer useful life from the abrasive.
Siafast application is very much a hand tool application and machines which complement its use
are in sections 8, 9 and 10
