Engis Slashed Loadings & Brushes
Heads are made to 5", 8" amd 12" diameters with widths 38mm to 150mm. Slashed Abrasive Cloth Strips supported by individual brushes.

The head is made from two side plates within which are cassettes containing the slashed
cloth abrasive strips (which can be unwound as wear occurs) and brush strips which are fitted into
slots on the outside edges of the plates. The assembly is spindle mounted horizontally for brush
sanding small hand held parts and mounted on a vertical spindle within a table for edge sanding.
The abrasive slashes are 3mm for flexible cloth and 6mm for X Wt cloth. The heads are able to
clean up smooth contoured parts and are widely used for this purpose.
